Cab Protector Unit, Air Cleaner for Commercial Vehicles
Cab Protector Unit - This is a 3-speed, 12-Volt DC air cleaning unit designed for use in the cabs of heavy trucks and forklifts. The unit was developed per the requests of mining companies for a filtered blower to be installed in their earth moving vehicles to keep diesel particulate from entering the cabs of the operators as recommended by OSHA and NIOSH. It is fitted with a HEPA and 12 pounds of activated carbon. This is a positive pressure device that is designed to mount inside the vehicle cab and fills the cab with filtered air to prevent harmful exhaust fumes from entering the cab. The Cab Protector air cleaner operates on DC power by tying into the battery of the vehicle with the adapter cord provided.
