The Giant portable fume and dust collector is designed for collecting industrial smoke and dry dust common to manufacturing operations and other industrial facilities. The Giant is fitted with a 3.0-HP continuous duty motor for heavy duty industrial smoke and dust collection applications that occur during welding, polishing, grinding and cutting of metals or plastics. This unit features 3-stage filtration beginning with an aluminum mesh pre-filter, 2 durable poly cartridges and a carbon post filter. A HEPA post filter is available for applications requiring hexvalent chromium filtration. There is a manual pulse clean feature to clean the cartridge of debris build-up. The stronger motor in this model allows for the Giant to support 2, 6-inch diameter FumEz self-supporting source capture arms model number 1620P; each arm will extend up to 10 feet. Easily portable by way of the industrial grade caster arrangement that features larger diameter wheels to the rear and swivel casters to the front. Housing is welded sheet steel and the unit is powder coated externally and internally. Please note that this unit is not suited for explosive gasses or dusts.
