Vacuums For ESD Safety

Electrostatic discharge can occur in vacuums of all sizes as a result of the friction from continual collection of debris. Large industrial vacuum can emit fatal shocks if not properly grounded. The vacuums profiled here are designed to collect much smaller amounts of debris but still develop internal static and are no exception to the damage that an electrostatic discharge can cause. The ESD safe vacuum features a conductive path to ground to prevent static build-up that will damage sensitive electronics common to commercial and industrial facilities. These vacuums are popular with service technicians involved with telecommunications and computer maintenance but their applications apply to any environment that needs to be kept static free. These units are lightweight and feature high-impact ABS polymer housings. Each is provided with an ESD safe tool kit and tank sizes range from 0.5-gallon to 5-gallon.
